<<Spanish billionaire Esther Koplowitz had 14 paintings--including masterpieces--stolen from her Madrid home, according to the Associated Press. The art theft is thought to be the biggest in the country's history. The thieves broke into Koplowitz's home and gagged the security guard after having deactivated the security system. Koplowitz, 52, was abroad on vacation during the heist. She runs Spanish construction giant Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas and has a net worth of about $1 billion.>>
