For the tax year 2001, I paid the first part of my income at 15%, like everybody else.

The tax cut, reduced the lowest tax bracket to 10%. I have already paid at 15%. I am getting back money, which I have already paid.

And you still avoid the issue as usual:

Do you believe that someone who paid no taxes should get a refund ?

quit being such an as(s)enna1.

The government, at least for the time being, is returning to the taxpayers a portion of their overpayment.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Still didn't answer the question.

I'll ask it the way you what then:

Are you one that believes that those that paid no taxes in 2000 should be receiving a $300 or $600 from the IRS as part of the Tax Cut Bill?
