Expect more spikes and gouging whenever they feel they can get away with it. Bush-Cheney have already announced that they'll work withnOPEC to bring oil prices back up to the 25-30 dollar range. Gee thanks, GW. Higher prices would bring conservation, better air, better water etc. But you don't really want higher prices due to the market, you want higher prices due to higher taxes. You want government to "gouge" and control by carrot and stick. Are we citizens or subjects?
