Why I bought JDSU:

1. I respect Brian's opinion regarding stocks to hold for the long run;
2. Prior experience with the company when I worked for KLA-Tencor seemed to indicate a positive attitude toward customer satisfaction;
3. Stocks often overshoot on bad news. JDSU's previous visit to the $8 area was in after-hours trading when they had a particularly negative announcement. I had a gut feeling that I had missed an opportunity at that time.
