Larry,

That MU is a real piece of work, isn't it? Amazing--.

The spinmeisters are going to have their work cut out for them when they pump the results from HWP and DELL. Both are pointing to the first half of 2002 for a pickup in demand. I can't believe DELL is forecasting a sequential decline in revenues next quarter: that's atrocious, given the seasonal pickup we would normally expect in the fall. HWP said to expect sequential growth, but the consensus is already calling for a 9-10 percent rise, so this guidance isn't as rosy as it sounds. (It's kind of like INTC saying it expects sequential growth next quarter: well, no kidding! A flat-to-down September quarter would be a disaster for INTC.)

I'm really enjoying the thread -- thanks!
