1) Your math skills are just great but $3 to $10 / 10,000 BTU's is only 233% increase not 500%. Of course Gray Davis might have paid $15 but ng never spiked that high.

2) I wrote to you about El Paso before. A company that had to cut 1/3 of its staff (and drilling operations) when oil was down to $11.

3) Yes this typical Bush crony. The El Paso CEO didn't take any pay for 3 years while his company was in survival mode. Hey maybe you can also bash him for not paying taxes during those years.

4) You complain on the 90% profit gain. Where were you when there were no profits but just losses?

Since Bush inauguration Natural Gas price declined from $10
Thermal unit to just above $3
At the beginning of the Clinton presidency Natural Gas was below $2
