Not necessarily, Tim. Motorola, IBM, and AMD each have their own .13u processes. What works well on one isn't necessarily related to the other. Different chemicals used, different materials used, different methods of manufacturing, different times spent in each stage of manufacturing, different suppliers, different machines, different settings, etc, will all affect the physical properties of the finished product, and the benefit that SOI will have on it. Even if you could figure out how much of the benefit the G4 had because of SOI, it has no relationship to how much benefit AMD will get.
