If you support the Bush tax cuts combined with the energy gougings you in effect are supporting the little guy getting bled, the surplus drained and the rich getting richer. Since Bush has made higher energy prices one of the bases of his whole strategy (whether he admits it or not) any tax cuts go right into Big energy's pockets. Then Bush awards them further by giving them 33 billion tax breaks and deregulation environmental protection to the point where he hardly exists at all. So in effect WE are paying Big Energy to go in and molest some of our most beautiful untouched wilderness areas. Something very few Americans would support if they knew what was happening.
