I've always wanted to get the good Omega Research Tradestation and Radar Scan software. People keep saying that the "latest" versions are continually getting inferior to the old stuff. I've been using Window on Wall Street Pro 5.0/6.5 Software for years, not because its great software, but rather because thats what I got originionally and I'm really good at using every single feature it has. Metstock is very comparable and due to programming issues I will have to switch by around 2004 as I understand. Good job on the continued reading. I'm always game to read about new ideas. I constantly peruse the bookstores looking for stuff. I don't read the more exotic candlesticks because I don't think the signals are reliable enough--its the big ones that matter, doji stars/evening/morning stars, piercing line/dark cloud cover, bullish/bearish haramis etc. An even more simple approach to ID reversals is to look for close>open and high greater than yesterday's high after a downtrend for example.
