That's really the damage footprint left by our folly of granting the liberals power in the last half of the 20th century. Today, America would find it impossible to: Fly to the Moon. Build Hoover Dam or the Golden Gate Bridge. Build the army and navy that ultimately won World War Two. Build the Interstate Highway System. Build the steel, oil and automobile industries. No, all we can do today is perpetrate the fraud of a previous generation by pretending to believe in "lock boxes" and "trust funds" and lead our economy dowe the path of deflationary ruin by retiring dollars to further the illusion of "providing" for them. Bush's courage is to believe that the socialists can be beaten, and America can have a new Golden Age, rather than choke on the vomit of its protracted ignorance. Reading the liberals on this thread makes one start to believe that he may be mistaken. If he is actually wrong, though, watch out. It won't lead to the triumph of these natural enemies of the American ideal and humanity itself, but to a less desirable world where they are removed-and their mess cleaned up-by less civilized means. Hopefully we can at least get a good start by putting a stop to their election fixing in 2002 and 2004...
