I'm not so sure about this "Traders in the Hamptons" spiel we keep being fed. I mean, people weekend in the Hamptons , they don't take the month off to go there and stay all week long while all hell is breaking loose in the market. I know some guys at market maker firms and their vacations and days off come second to making/not losing money. If there are houses with positions in trouble I think they would be paying attention right now and not letting their traders jet off for all of August. This Hamptons shite is yet another CNBC hook to keep J3.5P in the carnival game, all imho.
