Wasn't "Chief Economist" Kudlow's title? It doesn't appear to belong to Hays, according to the bio still up on CNBC's web site: Kathleen Hays covers economic and financial news for the network and serves as credit market reporter for CNBC's "Squawk Box." She came to CNBC in 1993 as a regular panelist on "Business Insiders" and "Strictly Business." At that time, she was also New York bureau chief and national economics correspondent for Investor's Business Daily, which she joined in 1989. Prior to that, Hays covered the Federal Reserve, U.S. economy and financial markets for Reuters, Munifacts/Bond Buyer and Market News. She holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in economics from Stanford University. moneycentral.msn.com
