I am not sure what you mean, but I'm pretty sure you know a snide remark when you see one. Moments earlier one of your clucky friends had posted an ominous threat to me and implied strong intent to act on it "You have no idea what you've started..." This friend of yours has been actively recruiting and guiding other clucks to carry her banner and bring attacks to this thread, of which I have been a recipient. She also lies in the grass bolstering gullible lefties to carry misguided criticism of innocent conservatives on SI. Your characterization is rather hard to accept based on your own cautionary words to the friends, X and Poet, who had just left this thread with harsh words and threats of retaliation. I understand your embarrassment at being seen, however. Your first post in meeting these two on a thread thought to be dead for some time was cautionary, which leads me to believe you weren't simply venturing off to discuss your interests in child rearing. I figure when anyone makes a threat it is wise to get oriented in their ways. In Poets case, there is also a track record. It is fine with me if she recruits clucks from far and wide and strategizes into the wee hours. In your case is the pretense of neutrality when, you are not. This thread is dominated with right wingers, which results in less than interesting debate about dinner coats and such. In any event your comment to me is more about your embarrassment than anything else. Join the clucks and flame away, it is more above board. On the other hand if left vs right issues could be debated once in a while that would be purposeful. In fact, if you would like to bring a particular "life principle" to the table that would be nice. My understanding from the past is that the lefties object to that.
