Jeffords switched May 24, prices went straight down after that. Check it out. Coincidence? At least the market knew that continued gouging would probably be investigated ocne the Dems had the Senate. As it should be. The Energy Cartel stole hundreds of billions in the midst of the fear and panic they themselves created. Now all they want to do is get away with the loot. Therefore the many-many energy PR ads positioning themselves as nice guys working hard to keep America going. Their real agenda remains hidden except when you read the fine print of Bush's energy bill with all its pro-energy loop-holes allowing it to skirt all environmental regulations and restrictions.
