>>Dear Mrs. Peel, I didn't mean to suggest that I was unwilling to carry on.<<

Raymond...my dear.

Of course you did.

In fact you have yet to send a message to me that wasn't mired with personal invective.

I really don't understand you Raymond...

I take the words of individuals at face value, apparently you don't.

Not even your own.

So *if* you're seeking answers, and finding *me* instead, I would encourage you to simply refrain from posting to me..saving you disappointment.

Mrs. Peel,
Well, that is one of the most entertaining re-writes of history I've ever seen. I have to say, you do have a flair for fiction.

Does it cross you mind that it is the business of electrical utilities to provide electricity and not the normal role of government? It was only when the private system utterly failed that the state and its coffers were dragged into this tawdry affair.

I believe you will agree with me that it is pointless for us to carry on. You have your religious belief structure in place regarding the glory of markets and the evil of governmental oversight. That's OK, my parents are still Catholic and I accept that too. But I simply don't think you are dealing with the same reality that I am. And believe me, I pay attention, and I have a big clue as to what is going on in the boardrooms at ENE, DUK, PGE, EIX, etc. And it ain't even close to what you're deluding yourself with on this thread. I'd love to be more squishily polite, Mrs. Peel, but it's hard to do considering the transparency of your fabrications. Sorry, and I suppose....

Good Bye
