DBAB vs CSFB, dueling analysts, the ultimate bull vs the ultimate bear, CSFB certainly has the upper (and hot) hand at the moment

Until recently I worked for a company that did a lot of government business that was required to go out for bid. We faced numerous protests over contract awards we received but in the end they served only to delay, not cancel the purchase by the government. As long as the contracting officer did his or her job properly, there was no bias in the award and GX was the best solution based upon both having the best product for the job, they should prevail. Price alone does not win government contracts in every case. IMO, this award will stand and GX will have the business. I agree with earlier post however, it is disappointing how little reaction there was to the positive news on the winning of this award. A little bad news sure goes a long way in this market.
