LOL -- "investment" eh. Mm, by time the bear runs it's course, whether we are in it now or not, we will have completely erased bubble psychology. A good bull run is only possible when people believe it's not, that's why it's important for the bear to eradicate people's belief. A bubble is a far more rare object, which is why it requires a much more severe bear to eradicate people's faith in anything that smacks of "new era" and all the other gobblespeak we've had to endure these last few years.
