The problem is that the sampling in the bar (site) is very unlikely to be representative of the population at large, whereas a truly random sampling will pretty well correlate with the national distribution of various demographic factors (age, region, ethnicity, sex, income, etc.), and therefore is likely to be representative when it tests opinion.......
