That was a long time ago. The competition and cost benefits of improving services would be very low back then. Thee days, they would not be able to survive. This one near my house is really really undergone a transformation. The decor, the stuff, the neat and clean arrangements, the staff, the inventories....suddenly everything turned around. Used to be awful, really awful. In fact I end up going there very often now...and the other day a lady sneaked up from behind and said "Can I help you with something?". I almost gagged with fright ! Imagine that at K Mart ! Thats not what we pay them for - is it ?
