spare me your haughty lectures, you are the one who takes delight in putting other people down, simply read my posts from yesterday and your responses, it is clear who takes it too personally and delights for whatever reason in showing your misguided superiority

Good riddance. Your cheerleading will be missed.

Funny how you talk about this not being an epic movie, yet last night you were the one taking the pot shots at John.

Why don't you apply for the analyst job at CSFB so there can be another 100% bull on the street that believes GX can do no wrong.

Take care.

Jason

Yep. Especially the beware CSFB. Pouring gas on a smoldering fire is dangerous.

Robert,

I hope that in time you will reconsider. There are many of us, I think, who appreciate your analysis and opinion, even though we may not be as vocal as some who are interested only in their own opinions.

Your posts, along with those of several others who provide useful information, have been the major reason for reading this board.

Those who derive joy from engaging in personal attacks are the ruination of many good discussion boards.

Best wishes,

robba

Robert, I have found your comments insightful and helpful. I appreciate your views and hope they continue to be posted. Don't be bothered by the daily noise of the few... I am quite sure their are many like myself out there who lurk on this thread, read alot and post very infrequently and always look to read your comments. The are usually well thought out and consistent. Global Crossing has been one hell of a ride and it is not clear what the outcome will be....I have been and continue to be a believer, it is however a dramaticly different enviorment..the outcome is a lot less certain.. I believe I understand the issues (thanks to yourself and other posters)...the stock has been crushed...but thats the way these things go..I think were only in the 2nd inning of the game..(hopefully it won't get called!)....in any event i continue to drink some cream soda and hope you will post again in the future. :-)

Bob,

I too hope that you stick around and continue to post.

One thing really sticks in my craw today - one of the press releases mentioned that the government notified GX on 8/14. Why do we hear it on 8/17? And when we do hear it - we hear it from CSFB first?

In my opinion, GX has really mishandled the shareholders interests (in letting a brokerage firm put their spin on the info first). I wonder what would have happened to the stock if GX had issued a press release first. The stock would have probably gone down; but, maybe not quite as much.

Also, I wonder how many folks had this information before today and traded on it over the past few days.

Finally, as I look at my losses - I keep asking myself the following questions :

1.) If stock price is truly undervalued at this point - where is the insider buying? Better yet, where is the hostile buyout offer?

2.) What is going to happen to the stock during tax loss season? Hopefully, this is already occurring.

I just about bought a few more shares today. But held back. I'm tired of catching the falling knife. I am waiting until we break above the 50 day moving average before putting more money in this stock. I know I will miss some upside - but, I wish I had done this instead of averaging down at 20, 12, and 7.

Dear Robert: Well, I presume you are reading if not posting. Let me know by PM if you got any ideas here if you dont want to post publicly anymore. If you own as much of GX as you have indicated then I presume you have paper lost more then most of not all of us. So I guess you are getting a little touchy yourself. personally, I wish I had never heard of Telecom as my telecom stocks have taken the worst beating of all, but I presume eventually we will have some sort of recovery.
