One more thing... I don't know of a single homophobe on SI. There are a few gay bashers and even more opposed to the gay political agenda. But none that I know who fear gays. Just for the record.

....the scourge of homophobia on SI.... Its far, far worse than that Poet. Its everywhere and I haven't seen anyone of my work colleagues running up and down the hallways yelling about homophobia, I haven't seen it in the streets (well there were a couple o parades but we covered that). I haven't seen husbands and wives going at it either. We've got to activate more, and more, and more people to start ranting about this. It seems there are very few that are doing anything. Sure, a few feminists but they usually just use it for the political agenda not because they are trying to help people be more comfortable with their neighbors. I suspect according to your vague implications that anyone who behaves the slightest bit conservative must be a phobe. Should we assign some people to start making lists? There may be conservatives still holding office at the local levels, lets start with them. Lets get their names and lets use the media.
