The thread deity would have no qualms about your concern. Hypocrites such as Poet do not concern themselves with such matters. I'm not going to join your flame wars. First, I don't accept anybody as thread deity here. You have your thread on which you're thread deity. She has her thread on which she is thread deity. Neither of you is thread deity here. End of that point. Second, I'm not going to call anybody a hypocrite until they prove themselves one. If she accepts my position, she isn't a hypocrite. But if she denies it, well, then she may indeed be one about that issue. By her own rules of thread behavior, as she applies them to you--that is, if you don't contradict a point made in a post you are implicitly adopting it--then if she doesn't respond at all, it would not be unfair fair to call her a hypocrite even if she really isn't one, since she didn't take the chance to deny it. But we'll wait and see whether she responds or not. I'm hoping for a rational, intelligent response, as I have known her to make in the past. I'm hoping the new tenor she has taken first with brees and now with you of dozens of posts of pure flame without content is an aberration and hasn't become her new posting philosophy. Though there's an element of fear that she's enjoying it so much she may get addicted to it, much in the way that children fed too much candy never willingly go back to eating the vegetables they need to maintain their good health.
