Gone are the days of the mom& pops shops :( You know I use to support my local farmers with their produce even though I could get it cheaper at like Wegman's. Any more though they(farmers) have been getting greedy IMO at least one I use to drive out of my way to patronize. So I have shined them. I still go there to pick our own peas we use during the winter. But now they are asking $3.25 for a dozen ears of corn, Wegmans sells them for $1.99/10 ears. I did find another smaller stand that sells them for 2.50/doz. And they give me a bakers dozen. But they only sell corn.
