The only thing I have been able to determine is that you are against rough stuff of any sort. It occassionally seems to me that because you are not taking a stand for something, you are standing with its opposition. Which, is why I have labeled you a closet leftie on occassion. You have pointed this out as an error. You seem then to seek merely a polite peaceable compromise on all issues. Right? Or, are there issues you would take a stand on and fight for?

While I was on the way out and back, I thought about a scenario which would make my point crystal clear. But then, I realized, I didn't need to. It's been done for me.

Do you know Orwell's essay "Politics and the English Language"? In my mind, perhaps the fost important essay written in the 20th century. If you don't know it, here it is:
