Yes, ironically Reagan increased government and deficits and CLinton reduced them. Republicans can't stand hearing that. They scramble for excuses, like blaming a weak Dem congress during the RR years or giving the weak Gingrich congress all the credit for Clinton's success. One thing today's stock market is telling us though, it's still the economy, stupid, and if Bush doesn't do something positive soon he'd better get out of the way and quit trying to fix what wasn't broken.
