Scooter

I just spoke to some friends in Masset.
For the past month they have been limiting
out on their Coho - 20 a day I think.
They're fishing for halibut, but can't get
the lines past the salmon - having to throw
them back. Unbelieveable!

Boy, what a problem to have.

How do you bbq your salmon?

hey mr. knievel,

the body of water i fish is fort peck reservior. it is one of the impoundments of the missouri river. it is 120 miles long and 1250 miles of shoreline. it was stocked with chinooks in the late 80's. we started catching them in 91.
i don't think there is any natural reproduction. they come back to where they are released to spawn and die. the game and fish trap some and milk the eggs to raise more finglerlings. they really stretch fishing line and taste great to boot. i have a smoker made from a refrigerator. oh boy!

i have a fantastic recipe for halibut if you get a hold of some.
