Samsung gave their production percentages (by bits) for specific dates in early July and early August, not for the two months specifically. But you mom and pop types are always missing subtle distinctions like that. That's why you find the industry announcements so confusing.

You're not being very effective at spinning this. Maybe I should give you some help:

"Micron, Hyundai and Infineon begin volume production of RDRAM!!! They're gonna be negotiating with Rambus this week!!! Samsung reduces production slightly in order to prevent over production on the market, but only for the first week in August!!!"

If you really want to know the truth, why don't you wait until next quarter earnings at Rambus? That should give you an idea what's happening in the market.
