R Li: to double operating revenue of PCCW in 7 yr

2001-08-17 09:48

(Infocast News) PCCW (0008) Chairman Richard Li told the South China Morning Post in an exclusive interview that he planned to double the operating revenue of PCCW in seven years.

Li said that PCCW was setting itself for growth in revenue, particularly operating revenue, in the next few years, and that assuming the company was able to increase operating revenue by 11%, it would take it seven years to reach that target.

Li pledged to double the market capitalisation of the company.

Double market capitalisation of PCCW? That means our shares will double to a whopping US$0.46?

JUST HOW DOES RICHARD LI INTEND TO INCREASE REVENUE? SOUNDS GOOD, BUT WHAT'S THE PLAN?
