"and who are you to talk"

I have lurked on this site for several months, but have never posted until today. I have been accumulating shares since '98. Right now I feel I have way too many for comfort. However, I have always believed in the Co.and do not share the feelings of some on this board that G.W. and co are out to get everybody. From the DD I have done,I found this to be the most informed board I had visited including the GTR. I especially enjoyed Martin, Fez(hated to see him leave),Dwb, and Sheldon, all seem to back up their statements with intelligent thought and facts.I would never swap their input for those who are always whining and adding an unnecessary constant negativism.

What really amazed me to day was the "chicken little attitude" that prevailed, and how some seemed to take delight in the CSFB report and actually seem to take joy in the fact they thought the co was in trouble. I find this a strange reaction for people who supposedly own shares.

If one thinks the co. they own is run by a bunch of inept managers and are out to take advantage of everyone why not sell out, put the money elsewhere, and quite bitching. I don't know about anyone else on this board but no one twisted my arm and made me buy this stock.

Personally, I hope Robert Sheldon stays.

Yet another sheep I see. Such a shame. Thank you for all your valuable contributions to this thread, lol (God forbid someone read the posts that you've made). Good luck on your positions in GSTRF, QCOM and XLA or whatever other pos you own. Perhaps if you had made an appearance on this thread other than to pump whatever dog you owned I would value your opinion.

Jason

Douglas,

From looking at your personal profile and your past posting history. I feel very bad for you. At least GX wasnt as bad as your XLA "investment"

I've been spending a great deal of time analyzing my investment in GBLX over the last week. Upon my analysis and continued due diligence work I decided to buy another 500 shares under $ 24 per share today.
I truly believe that the Street is reading this company all wrong. I think it is the FRO acquisition that has really hurt the stock price over the last two months due to the Street's errant conclusions reached upon review of the continued falling prices for long distance telephone service. I think this is the wrong focus to have with respect to this company. George Gilder's declaration of "voice will be free" has not diminished his enthusiasm for GBLX and its management. George has made me a great deal of money over the last nine months and I hold his opinions in very high regard.

This company is going to make money by way of the surging data flows that will be sailing through its network as the Net continues its exponential growth and as its insatiable appetite for bandwith continues to grow. The worldwide network that this company is building is indeed a valuable asset. KEEP THE FAITH ALL GBLX LONGS! I don't think anyone will be able to establish a significant short position in this stock right now no matter how hard they try. When this one turns around I think it's going to be a rocket!

Doug

Have you ever read Gilder? This company is for real. Do you honestly believe that Exodus is making a mistake by deploying Mirror Image's technology and investing several hundred million dollars in the process? The market is soft and this stock is volatile. Stick to the facts, please.
I have to admit that I sold this stock earlier this year when it took off because I believed that I would have the opportunity to get back in. I have been buying a long-term five-year position at these levels. I've made a great deal of money listening to George. What are your credentials?
