I won't argue with you that the present momentum in growth of manufacturing RDRAM/DDR lies with DDR. I think this is to be expected as so many are placing their hopes for sales on the addition of the DDR based P4's.

What concerns me is that the benchmarks have been obviously twisted to show the Via DDR boards in an unreasonably good light. If the DDR based boards were truely a better value, they would not need to do this...they could use the commonly available DDR which really is cheaper, and use the high speed P4's in their comparisons. I am still waiting for the comparisons based on equivalent systems. Not one of the testers has pointed out that the DDR that Via supplied is more expensive, they all continue to portray it as the less expensive solution. I want to see some honest equality here...where is it, and why is it not forthcoming? I think the answer is self-evident. Perhaps SiS will do better.
