Why don't you go back to last fall when I predicted the price war and revenue collapse, and nobody on the Intel thread took that seriously, either.

You and Mary keep acknowledging that AMD has near term server and notebook solutions that are competitive with or superior to anything that Intel is offering, but then claim it doesn't matter because the market would rather pay high prices for an inferior Intel branded product than low prices for a superior AMD product.

We'll see. Market based economies don't usually behave that way in the long term.

The ability for either company to receive extremely high prices for any high volume CPUs may have been permanently lost. AMD's business plan accommodates that scenario, while Intel's does not.
