if both Europe and the US stand by Israel then who's left on the Palestinians' side??

Um, how about the Arab world? Ready as always to sacrifice the last drop of Jewish blood and the last acre of Jewish land for their dear brothers. They remain very much in the picture as they have done everything in their power to prevent a peaceful settlement for 50 years. Keeping the Palestinians seething in refugee camps (name one other set of refugees that have remained in camps for 50 years) suits them just fine.

As for Arafat's anti-Christian stance, just remember that his wife, Soha Arafat, is Christian and that Arafat never misses the Christmas mass in Bethleem...

This makes the free pass he gets on "there never was a Jewish Temple on Temple Mount" even more bizarre. What Arafat says and promises is not ever expected to count for anything, apparently.
