How do you feel about Milton Friedman, Robert Mundell and James Tobin?

As far as clowns are concerned, that is a 3 ring circus . . .

Its easy to say the captain of the titanic was a great captain, until he hit the iceberg. Up until now Greenspan has expanded and expanded debt saving the economy from the enevitible down cycle. As this is occuring it probably seems like its a brillient plan. The problem is historical all credit bubbles end in not so great ways. The hot air salesmen does great before the pop. MITI in Japan was considered some super powered economic management machine in the 80's. They could do no wrong, they navigated Japans bubble, they even tried a controlled deflation of that bubble. After the implosion MITI isnt so highly regarded anymore, the same will happen to Greenspan. In Economics and Govt I was tought that the Japenese planned economy, and education system were wonderfull. I was taught this, and read about it from Economists. Which if you get where i am going it is all pretty useless if it comes from an Economist.
