Yeah, after my son graduates, we want to get closer to the District. We have our eyes on several luxury apartments in downtown Silver Spring, all near a Metro stop, and a few blocks from the District line. We would be less than a mile from my favorite deli, and also from the top of Rock Creek Parkway, which is an easy ride to downtown Washington. We want to spend more time doing city things. My mother will be about 5 miles down the road once we move, compared to 50 or so before she moved, and about 60 now......
