The other important factor at work is that next week Louis Rukeyser will be back at his post after three weeks of vacation. I always laugh at myself for worrying about the uncanny correlation between Lou's vacations and market swoons, but historically it has proven as good an indicator as any. <g>

EKS: My witch doctor said almost exactly the same thing as he was sacrificing a chicken. I'd say the signs of a real breakout to the upside here are really piling up. <g>
