On further review,...

It appears that the $36,843,000 of RMBS shares that the Pequot threw overboard covered the entire 2nd Quarter rather than just the month of June, and the reader is further cautioned that such "sales" for the period would more accurately be described as the "difference" in value of shares "held" on March 29 as compared to June 30.

The price movement of RMBS for the period being what it was, we cannot rule out the possibility that old Ahab was able to pump quite a bit of "oil" before going down for the last time. All we can say with certainty is that the total 5 million in lost cargo must have been leaking for some time.

You can call me Ishmael, but it looks like this Ahab knew that CB was right as far back as 1999.<vbg>
