Joan. Quite true.

I'm not against investing in the S.A. stocks.

My only point is that I wouldn't concentrate on them exclusively. Some geographical (country) diversification just makes sense when MORE than one of them is a risk factor we have to include when we plan the overall portfolio. Look at Indonesia. There are investment ops there. But S.A. is more stable IMHO. I could go on and on.

HGMCY trade in April/May worked out just fine. And will probably include S.A. in my trading/investing plans in the future.

Just arguing it's prudent to diversify into a number of different countries, with different labor pools, political environments, etc. That way, country specific "bolt out of the blue" event can weigh on more than a fraction of your overall precious metals portfolio.
