Thanks for that interesting article... I think English is no longer a mere language... English has become a semantic biotope(*)... It's like oxygen... And I don't want those silly frogs to cut off my air supply!! <g>

BTW, the Internet is by no means a device in Imperialism's service: thanks to the Internet, I've been able to access a cornucopia of news/information sources that are of limited access otherwise: from Iranian websites to the Jerusalem Post to the Times of India to the Atlantic Monthly to anp.org to feer.com to... you name it. I think cultural obscurantism will drive Europe into a wilderness of decay.... a Continentwide Dismayland of sorts.
