Marginmike have you studied the French or German or Benelux or Italian labor relation laws ? or their social benefits and rights? It is true they do not borrow and spend as much as the US but they are VERY VERY back end loaded. This July Schroeder even denied that he will make any changes that will benefit German competitiveness. So much for those geniuses. Until the left will be in power the dollar has a free ride IMHO. Yes it should be 1.2 Euro to $1 but it is not. Haim
