Many stock gurus are stoned and hated and chided for picking stocks that double or triple, I like to pick stocks that will multiply 5, 10 or 15 times. When I picked NTAP it was a 5 fold, I keep buying it because based on those old number it was a doubler-tripler, that is a 5 multiplier, now as I continue to buy it, I see it as a 15 to 20 multiplier, granted this does not happen overnight, but I am an optimist pragmatist Due diligence trend and charter numbers kind of a person, convinced that it will happen, NOT IF BUT WHEN. That leads to your other remark, investors will only have immediate losses if they panic and immediately sell. No one should buy a stock like that. No one should really buy a stock for the long long term either, meaning never for a 401K or pension plan or college funding a buy and forget it, those days have been over with (except in the poor advise given by brokers who would LOVE TO DAYTRADE YOUR ACCOUNT and pocket the profits) no you need a horizon to sell, every buy should already have a sell price attached to it, not a wait and see what it might do, but a definite non greedy automatic sell price the very day you buy it. I will sell NTAP at least half when it hits it 52 week high of $152 again. We will see how soon that is, it won't be tomorrow, but it won't be longer than 2 years either. 15X my money, thats worth the wait. I am, Truly your$, -Crystal Ball
