Barely budged on the SPX but another 9.4 K short on the SPX mini. 2k less short on the NDX slightly offset by a 4.2K increase in their NDX mini position.

Interestingly, they are now short 25K contracts on the NDX mini and 26K on the SPX mini. Monster increase in their gold short position though.

Latest COT report (as of Aug 14):
cftc.gov

Commercials on ...

S&P - added just over 5,000 contracts both long and short, so still long 337,327 and short 411,504 contracts

NAZ 100 - took off about 1,000 contracts both long and short, so still long 29,909 and short 37,822 contracts

DOW - added 3,008 long and 2,123 short, so still long 21,652 and short 15,856 contracts

Bottomline - still very short S&P and NAZ 100 - slightly long the DOW.
