The exposition of a dynamically changing world is interesting but I think there are really no new points here for gorilla investors. We hold as long as the gorilla is not seriously challenged. If there is a coming innovation which seems probable to make the gorilla's value chain irrelevant then we sell. We also sell if the gorilla is way overvalued. Otherwise we indeed buy and hold.
