You're correct! The Baby Boom period lasted 18 years from 1946-64. I was born in Oct '42, more than 3 years before the 1st Baby Boomer. Then followed the Baby Buster or X Generation from 1965-76. Then the Baby Boomlet from 1977-94.

Just as Manufacturers of Toys prospered for the young Baby Boomers, Manufacturers of Hi-Tech Toys for the Old Baby Boomers are prospering now. HDTVs with clearer picture (with illusion of 3d) and with better sound will be of great help to the old folks. Companies that addresses their needs will be very busy.
