I wouldn't pay the premium for RDRAM right now unless the extra performance was absolutely necessary.

However, by the time a DDR P4 is available from Dell, you may find that the RDRAM pricing premium has dropped enough to make it worthwhile. Keep an eye on pricewatch.com for latest prices

Did a search for DDR on dell's site and it came up with 6 matches. They were all references to graphics subsystems. Where did you see this DDR system?
