jimbo, Will these trifling premiums protect them from the consequences of a major market plunge? Not enough to even mention ! I think Schaeffer is barking up the wrong tree. I for one am certainly not selling cc's based on downside protection motivations. I simply want to pick up a few bucks on stock I was going to hold anyway. I tend to agree - these premiums (due to low volatility) are not worth the effort) And the low volatility will be the norm) CSCO has had low premiums for many months yet by taking a small bite for each of several month I've now chomped off a 10% mouthful over the past for months -- slow and steady can work. --dfl
