Very nice post Russ, I will be looking into your watch list. I had traded MR in the past and did not act on it when you first posted on how it was sleeping despite good news. I will not doubt you in the future (I still might not invest, but that is a different beast!).

I think we will have to disagree about being in a "severe worldwide recession". I think we are just starting. It sure is not evident in the UK where I live (US citizen). Don't know how it is in the US but looks like we (US consumer) are on the edge of the abyss and is about to step off. You will have to forgive me for being cynical as I have been expecting this for 4 years. Talk about being early! I did not expect the market manipulation carried out by CB and FED, et al!

I have been buying physical gold, well "semi-physical" egold to be exact and converting all spare $$ into ££. I am holding almost exclusively jr. explorers but I bought them starting 2 years ago so I am underwater on most but not all. FGX is a recent addition and it is doing nicely.

It has been hard to trade these jrs. because everytime POG rose I was expecting it to take off and therefore did not want to trade out and be caught flat footed. GLG is a producer that I have used to trade in the past but not explorers.

Anyway thanks for the fine post. Gonna go look up some stocks now....
