European money and particularly UK money is at stake here. $150 billion of foreign money flowed into US securities investments during the first quarter of 2001. Most of it was from Europe and a good chunk from the UK.

Australian Fin Review has been running huge articles on the US Dollar all last week. The Australian has been talking about it for a while too.
