OT - No doubt about it Huey, the bay area is tops. We enjoy traveling 'round the country, but wouldn't live anywhere else. We manage to keep somewhat in shape thanks to our kids. As for biking, we like the paths down in Pacific Grove. While we live here in valley, there's a family cottage in PG, so we spend plenty of time on the coast, Carmel, Cannery Row, etc. We often go further south and like to stay at the lodge in Big Sur, or find a spot at one of the beaches between Santa Cruz and Half Moon Bay.

This area is great. We have the coast, the city, they bay and the wine country. It's just a few hours to the lake, skiing and gambling in Tahoe, or camping in Yosemite. We're lucky.

I drive this area too and give my best attention when bicycles are around.

That Page Mill road down from 35 sure isn't a road to drive a 911 on. It will sake you apart with a bad road and a new curve every 30 feet. But on a bicycle, it maybe nicer.
