Yes, you are. I remember your getting some kudos for civility yesterday. It's always nice when people notice.

That's not was said. What was said is that, on one hand, there's being alive in a cellular or vegetative way, and then there's being alive and sentient, although, from your perspective, it's effectively the same thing and I know where you're coming from.

I thought it was a useful distinction in that it was one more possible bright line for what level of human life should get what protection. This discussion of stem cells has given us a lot of possibilities. Some pro-lifers are making a distinction between fertilization and implantation that I hadn't heard before. I think that the more possibilities we have for bright lines, the better. It enriches the thought process.

Just realized that this post could be considered another example of saying someing agreeable and then telling you to shove it.

Yes, it could. You've fallen into a pattern, like I said. <g>
