The other day, someone was asking me what I was reading, since I'm obviously not seeing all of the bullish reports. Well, this has been my only routine in trying to determine the mood of the market:

1. I glance at the headlines of the WSJ;
2. I listen to the tone of the voices on CNBC for about 1/2 hour after the close; and,
3. I post to message boards and see what the responses are from the traders and investors.

At no time, do I ever read analysts reports, newsletters or any one else's opinion. So when I say I can't find any one around who thinks that it can even bounce, I mean the people on this thread, on SI, and in my own chat room. It's really lopsided here. Anyway, agreed that the game will "not be on again" for a long time, but as someone who traded gold (the ultimate in depressing bear markets) all the way down from the $500s I have seen some amazing bounces.
